The Wexford Lady has outstanding ability in all fields, and has proved as much by becoming an Advanced Horse as a 7-year-old. She has won at Pre-novice and Novice Level and has been consistently placed at Intermediate level. She finished 9th out of 120 at her first three-day event, Burgie, was 13th at The Gatcombe Intermediate Championships, then was placed at her first Advanced event. In October 2000 The Wexford Lady finished top mare in 4th place on her dressage score at the  World Breeding Championships For Young Event Horses at Le Lion D'Angers 2* Three Day Event.  In 2001 she was placed 13th at Blenheim CCI ***.  In 2002 she was regularly placed at Advanced level, only to go slightly lame after the steeplechase at Burghley. The Wexford Lady had a successful year in 2003 with a 7th place at Bramham CCI***, 6th place at the British National Championships at Gatcombe, culminating with the 5th place at Burghley CCI***. She finishes the season on 402 points. Her B.S.J.A. winnings are £229.  Following her 8th place at Badminton 2004, she was selected for the British Team at the Athens Olympics.  Sadly she suffered a minor training injury two days before competition start and had to be pulled out.  -  Retired 2008.

The Wexford Lady is by 'Fine Blade' who was successful on the flat and was placed in a Group 1 race. Her dam's line goes back to 'King of Diamonds', famous for the quality of the jumping horses it produces.  Forth Diamond (the dam) was a successful show jumper and was 2nd in the Mares Middle Weight Class at The Royal Dublin Show before going to stud.

Another sister won Mares Middleweight Class at the R.D.S and went on to stand reserve Champion Mare. She also show jumped successfully before going to stud.
