Treason
Born in 2002, Treason is by 'Hand in Glove' the thoroughbred Grand Prix Show-jumping stallion, who also competed at Prix St. George Dressage (see stallion page). His dam, Welton Lady, was an Intermediate Event mare and former winner of the Burghley Young Event Horse (see brood mares page).
A gelding of outstanding natural ability, he has won the Young Horse Evaluation final, and holds a British Breeding Performance Diploma. Selected for the European Young Horse Championships at Pompador, he finished in 8th place out of over 80 horses, with the grading 'excellent'.
Completed 2010 with 163 BE points. He was 4th and 5th at the CIC**s at Brigstock and Barbury Castle, and was 2nd at the CIC*** for 8/9years olds at Blenheim. Treason finished his season with a superb double clear at the CCI*** at Boekelo.
