Jaguar Mail

Jaguar Mail'Jaguar Mail' is a young French Stallion with an exceptional sport horse pedigree, being by Hand in Glove (see our stallion listing), out of a 'Laudenham' mare.  Laudenham was the leading American jumping sire in 2001, his progeny having accumulated more prize money that year than those of any other stallion.  He had a hugely successful show jumping career himself from 1972-82.

Jaguar Mail's granddam is a mare of hanovarian origin, (Alme x Gotthard).  His dam, Elvira Mail, daughter of Laudenham follows in the footsteps of her own dam with outstanding progeny.  Jaguar Mail is her first offspring, after which she produced Katchina Mail and Loren Mail, finalists as four year olds, both excellent in CSO.  Elvira Mail is the sister of Cherger Mail, winner in CSIO, ISO165, of Fergar Mail, winning stallion in CSI, and Hoggar Mail who was the six year old champion stallion CSI in 2003.  Her dam, the extraordinary mare Adoret Z (Alme) also produced the Belgian Champion five year old CSI - Rodant Z.

Jaguar mail made a brilliant debut to his jumping career as a four year old, jumping eleven clear rounds out of fourteen, including a double at the CIR and at the final where he was classed as 'excellent'.  He proceeded to finish 7th at the five year old Championships (being classed elite), and 10th in the six year old Championships.  At the six year old Championships at Lanaken he was the best Selle Francais stallion taking sixteenth place following a triple clear round.

Jaguar Mail is a young and talented dark bay stallion, with size and scope, large hocks and excellent angulation.  He has an excellent character, an intelligent eye, and excellent paces.  He walks very well, and trots with great suppleness and cadence, and his canter is spectacular, supple, ample, loose and balanced.

He first stood in France in 2002, and has served the most number of mares of any young Selle Francais stallion.  Already, two of his daughters have taken 4th and 5th places in the French Championship for foals in 2003.

Competed for Sweden at the Hong Kong Olympics.
